At Velvétor Perfumes, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.

1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns under the following conditions:

Eligible for Return:

  • Damaged or defective products received
  • Wrong product delivered
  • Sealed/unopened products within the return window
  • Products with manufacturing defects

Not Eligible for Return:

  • Opened or used perfume bottles (due to hygiene reasons)
  • Products without original packaging
  • Products damaged due to misuse or negligence
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
  • Gift sets with broken seals

2. Return Window

7 Days: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for eligible products.

Note: For damaged or defective products, please report within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To return a product, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer support at info@velvetorperfumes.com
  2. Provide your order number, product details, and reason for return
  3. Include clear photographs if the product is damaged or defective
  4. Wait for return authorization from our team
  5. Pack the product securely in its original packaging
  6. Ship the product to the address provided by our team

4. Return Shipping

Damaged/Defective/Wrong Products: We will arrange for pickup or provide a prepaid return label. You will not be charged for return shipping.

Change of Mind (Unopened Products): Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

5. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned product:

Approved Returns:

  • Refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refund will be credited to the original payment method
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
  • Bank processing time may take an additional 5-10 business days

Rejected Returns:

  • If the return does not meet our policy criteria, it will be rejected
  • The product will be shipped back to you at your expense
  • You will be notified via email with the reason for rejection

6. Refund Amount

Full Refund: Product price + shipping charges (if applicable for damaged/defective/wrong items)

Partial Refund: Product price only (for change of mind returns; original shipping charges are non-refundable)

7. Exchange Policy

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product:

  1. Return the original product following our return process
  2. Place a new order for the desired product
  3. Once your return is approved, you will receive a refund

Note: We may offer direct exchanges on a case-by-case basis for damaged or defective products.

8. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your order before it is shipped:

Before Shipment:

  • Contact us immediately at info@velvetorperfumes.com
  • Full refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

After Shipment:

  • Order cannot be cancelled
  • You may refuse delivery and the product will be returned to us
  • Refund will be processed after we receive the product back
  • Return shipping charges may be deducted from the refund

9. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  1. Do not open or use the product
  2. Take clear photographs of the packaging and product
  3. Contact us within 48 hours at info@velvetorperfumes.com
  4. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund

10. Missing Items

If you receive an incomplete order:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide your order number and details of missing items
  • We will ship the missing items at no additional cost

11. Refund for Prepaid Orders

For orders paid online (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallets):

  • Refund will be credited to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 5-7 business days from approval
  • Bank credit time: Additional 5-10 business days

12. Refund for Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

For COD orders that are returned:

  • Refund will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS)
  • You must provide your bank account details
  • Processing time: 7-10 business days from approval

13. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Shipping charges (except for damaged/defective/wrong items)
  • Gift wrapping charges
  • COD charges
